Bo Wilkes – from Dutch reality TV show Echte Gooische Moeders – asked her followers for tips for a family holiday with young children and put together her ideal family package with KLM Holidays.
Curaçao received the most votes, much to the satisfaction of all family members. Bo’s children had two more study days immediately after the autumn holidays, so the family could get away for no fewer than nine days. “The days in Curaçao are also nice and long, so you really get away from it all,” Bo tells VROUW magazine.
“We chose a flight that left at 3.00 p.m.; that was very relaxed. Especially with small children, I think it’s really challenging if you have to leave the house at 4.00 a.m. in the morning.”
